Magic Negro-gate: How Liberals Confused Obama With Kazaam

Because the last one went so notoriously well, I’ve written another political article for Cracked. You can Digg it here, if the Digg’s are in your soul. If you don’t feel like reading it, let me sum up for you: Obama doesn’t grant wishes. Kazaam doesn’t have a health care plan. Now you can tell the difference!

  1. Great piece — and I say this as one who was happy to vote for Obama, and happier still that he won. But the expectations of so many who worship at his feet are absurd beyond belief. I think he’s the right guy for these times — infinitely better than the tag team of Iron John and Moose-Killer Palin — but getting through these next four (eight?) years ain’t gonna be easy or pretty. We’re all in for a very bumpy ride.

So by the “magic negro” theory, I guess Jeeves must be the “magic negro” to Bertie Wooster’s foppish upper class twit in the “Jeeves” books of P.G. Wodehouse.

    I like it…

I voted for him as well – even switching to Democrat for the primaries – but it doesn’t mean he’s immune to objective thought. Glad you liked it.
